Whatcha Writin?: short stories of dubious quality

I write short stories almost exclusively, but I am willing to read almost anything as long as it's interesting. My very favorites are mysteries, but NEVER true crime. That's just depressing.

not sure i'd qualify 'short stories' as a genre, more of a form, seems to me. but i'm still at least half a mug low on coffee this morning. read? almost anything and everything. and, bad Jim, no Jim-cookies, while i like to write in shorter forms, when reading i tend to ignore the umpteen jillion anthologies i have in favor of novels.

You're 100% right, I'm sure. That's what happens when you let me do things! CHAOS!

I write action adventure with a romantic twist. I also write historical shot stories about a family living in central texas in the 1880s. Doug
