Do you dabble in writing, enjoying it when you can fit it around the rest of your busy life? Or is writing your nine-to-five? Or are you somewhere in-between?
Are you happy with the amount of writing you're doing now? Wish you could do more? Less?
Let's talk about how much time we spend on our craft!

I generally write for about two hours a day. And by write, I mean I glare at my computer screen, fingers hovering over the keys, willing words to appear.

I should clarify that my bar for "write" is pretty low. As long as my pen is making words on paper, it's writing. I hold myself to no standard of quality.

I write mostly at work - surprisingly because I have few interruptions there. I get my work done and am pretty free to write uninterrupted. I'm writing a book of short stories (memoirs) and get my inspirations when events trigger memories. I plan my story at night as I go to sleep and wake up excited to get started. When I have no new inspiration, I go back and rework one of my stories. So far I have more than 40 stories and am trying to find a way to present them that would earn me a publisher.
